2007 U.S. Figure Skating Championships

The U.S. Figure Skating Championships are underway in Spokane, Washington. They've been having novice and junior events since Sunday, and tonight is the official Opening Ceremony. There are still a few tickets left, but they're quickly selling out at the Spokane 2007 website. You can also call 1-866-USA-2007 for more information.

Tickets for the Women's Finals on Saturday and the Champions' Exhibition on Sunday are now sold out.

Olympic silver medalists Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto are aiming for their fourth consecutive US title in ice dancing.

With nine-time champion Michelle Kwan and last year's winner Sasha Cohen both absent, Kimmie Meissner is aiming for the Ladies' crown. She trains at the University of Delaware in Newark and goes to a public high school there. Her other famous competitor is Emily Hughes, sister of Sarah, who was the 2002 Olympic champion.

Flamboyant Russophile Johnny Weir is eyeing a fourth straight men's title.
