Inventor of the Remote Control has died

Couch potatoes are mourning the death of Robert Adler, the Zenith engineer credited as a co-inventor of the remote control.

He and fellow Zenith Corporation engineer Eugene Polley were given an EMMY AWARD by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 1997.
