Downtown Los Angeles is full of phallic symbols. Think of all those skyscrapers. It also has a lot of public sculptures, the most phallic of which has to be Ulysses (painted steel, 1988) by Alexander Lieberman. You can find it in front of the Mellon Bank building at 400 South Hope Street. East side of Hope, near 4th Street.
Taken on February 24, 2007, Saturday, as I was returning from the dentist. There was construction going on at the building.
