List of 2007 Tony Awards winners

Wasn't that the most godawful telecast of the Tony Awards? Shame on the producers, director and writer(s). Even the stunt of having Heidi Klum, A-Rod, Bloomberg and Wolfgang Puck do some "There's a little bit of Broadway in everyone." came off lame, lame, lame!

The few parts I did enjoy: Mary Louis Wilson, wearing pants and saying, "Everybody's been so articulate..." and then proceeded to howl; she honestly stated that her winning the Tony did not feel like a mistake the way she worried it would be. Another classy acceptance speech was by Jennifer Ehle. And to claim his first ever Tony, the choreographer Bill T. Jones jumped onto the stage.

Eddie Izzard was the only presenter who allowed himself to be naturally funny. The others put up with what must have been a defective teleprompter. Usher was there accompanying his godfather Ben Vereen; he skipped the Cavs game!

I miss Hugh Jackman. But what's this about him being on television? Viva Laughlin or something. Isn't that like a step down? Who's his frickin' agent?
