Last September, we helped promote an event held at an area restaurant. It turns out that establishment has been operating illegally. Worse, in recent weeks there appears to have been an outbreak of food poisoning among their customers.
Now the Los Angeles County Health Department is asking for assistance in telling the victims to make a report in order to track the cause of the illnesses. This can be done either by calling (213) 240-7821 ext. 2 during business hours or by doing it online.
The name of the restaurant is Larchmont Bungalow and it is located at 107 N. Larchmont Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90004.
Those making a report can opt to give minimal personal information because what's important is the submission of specific details such as the date and time of food consumption, what was eaten, and the symptoms experienced. This contribution to their data pool will help pinpoint the exact cause (lettuce? eggs?) and help prevent any further outbreaks.
